Europa está en guerra

Las bombas no caen en Europa. Caen a miles de kilómetros de distancia, en Iraq y Afganistán. Sin embargo la guerra se hace desde Europa. Europa sirve de plataforma de lanzamiento de las intervenciones militares en todo el mundo. Los marcos varían: OTAN, UE, la coalición liderada por EEUU, ONU. Los blancos también varían: Iraq, Afganistán, Líbano, Chad, etc.

Europa befindet sich im Krieg.

Die Bomben fallen jedoch nicht in Europa. Sie fallen Tausende Kilometer entfernt in Irak und Afghanistan. Aber der Krieg wird von Europa aus geführt. Europa dient als Ausgangspunkt für weltweite militärische Intervention.

De bommen vallen niet in Europa. Ze vallen duizenden kilometers verder weg, in Irak en Afghanistan. Toch wordt de oorlog vanuit Europa gevoerd. Europa dient als vertrekbasis voor militaire interventies wereldwijd.

War starts from Europe.

Europe is at war.

The bombs are not falling in Europe. They are falling several thousands of km away in Iraq and Afghanistan. But still war is waged from Europe. Europe serves as a launch pad for military interventions worldwide. The frameworks differ: NATO, EU, US coalition of the willing, UN.

In 2008 the ESF, European Social Forum, will be arranged in Malmö, Sweden. We will grab this opportunity to bring together different active peace movements from all over Europe. We will organise a European peace forum, European Peace Action, which will create a network of European peace groups for direct action. Our goal is to develop common strategies and campaigns.
